I LEAD AN EXCELLENT TEAM!

Last years economic results, which have been the best in our entire history so far, were a good springboard for this year. In a word, the start of the new millennium was successful for us. This success we put down to a bit of good luck and the zeal and professional work of the whole company. We have set very, very high standards of the company’s productivity – we have become the leaders in our branch.

To be the leader in one’s branch means to defend this position again and again, to be better than the rivals and to offer hospitals everything they need or may need. Some people say that there is not enough money in the health services. The opposite is true. The question is, however, how these financial means are disposed of. There is a lack of money for health services everywhere in the world, I have never heard any minister of health contentedly say “I have enough money“.

Are you asking why it is disposed of incorrectly in our country and where the mistake was made? Simply speaking, we have not carried out the necessary restructuring.

But when medical facilities start working with extra charges for higher standard services and so called cash payments, there will be even more money in health services. My argument is based on practical experience – we are co-owners of a hospital and a spa, we run them and know the weak points from experience.

In the past, we defended the ISO 9000 and ISO 9001 certificates. Apparently this is the reason why we have had a minimal number of complaints. And I am very happy about one more thing: we invest in the education of our workers and these investments pay twice as much in return. The people and the quality of their everyday work are decisive for good results of a company irrespective of the position they work in. A good choice of people is a basis of everything, but it probably is the most difficult thing. That is why team spirit has caught on in our company, with good informal relations prevailing.
